Pitt Makes Top 6 For 2021 4-Star Wing Brandon Weston

Pitt’s consistent recruiting of Brandon Weston has helped them land in his top six schools.

The talented Class of 2021 four-star wing released on Twitter his Top six of Illinois, Michigan, Pitt, Seton Hall, Wake Forest and Western Illinois. Rivals rates Weston (6’5”, 195) as one of the Top 75 overall prospects in the Class of 2021.

Last season for Morgan Park ,Illinois, Weston averaged 24 points, 10 rebounds, three steals and three blocks per game as he was named All-State Second Team. Weston recently announced that he’d be moving to Hillcrest Academy in Glendale, Arizona to play his senior season.

Weston received his offer from Pitt back in May and since then, Capel and his staff have done a good job communicating and making an impression with Weston and his mother. Aside from Capel, another plus that Pitt has going for them is Weston grew up playing with and knows current Pitt star Justin Champagnie.

Weston is a complete player both offensively and defensively. He’s a difficult matchup on offensive because of his ability to score from all three levels along with his improved NBA 3-point shooting range.
