PITTSBURGH — For Rashad Weaver, Saturday’s game at Heinz Field was a long time coming.
After a knee injury cost him the entire 2019 season and a positive COVID-19 test held him out of the season opener, Pitt’s senior defensive end was back in action and was a force in Pitt’s 21-10 win over Syracuse at Heinz Field.
Weaver had two of Pitt’s seven sacks as the Panthers defense dominated the line of scrimmage, but to hear Weaver and safety Damar Hamlin tell it, they think their unit can be even better.
Hear from those two, as well as quarterback Kenny Pickett and phenom wide out Jordan Addison from outside the Panthers locker room after Pitt improved to 2-0 on Saturday.
