Pitt will be playing yet another upcoming game on the ACC Network.
The ACC announced on Monday that Pitt’s game on Oct. 10 at Boston College will be televised on the ACC Network. Kickoff from Chestnut Hill will take place at 4 p.m.
This news means that the Panthers’ first five games of the 2020 season will be televised on the ACC Network, a channel that local subscribers of Comcast aren’t able to view.
This combined with the fact that fans aren’t permitted to attend games at Heinz Field means that a large portion of the Pitt fan base haven’t been able to watch their quick start to the 2020 season.
Following the game against Boston College, chances seem to be pretty good that Pitt will play on another ESPN channel, with games against Miami and Notre Dame, two nationally ranked teams.
The game against the Eagles will be the second afternoon start of the season for Pitt. They also started at 4 p.m. against Austin Peay in the season opener.
I bought a Hulu subscription that is just under $60/mo. just for ACC Network. It has just about everything Comcast has for 1/3 the price. I’m canceling Comcast b/c they wouldn’t carry ACC Net.
Comcast isn’t $180… unless you’re new to cable
I dropped DIRECTV last year and I’m paying $65 now instead of $145. Just cut the cable.
Good call Section 122, vote with your $$ to convince Comcast. A lot of good content on the ACC Network.
I dropped Comcast and picked up “Youtube TV” (Not Youtube). Same content as Comcast + ACC Network, unlimited DVR, at about the same price. Totally satisfied with reliability and quality.
