Published

on

It was not only a successful week for the Pitt Panther football program, but it was also a successful one for a bunch of former Panthers in the NFL

A big recruiting point for Pat Narduzzi is the programs ability of putting players in the pros and once again they’ll be able to point out names such as James Conner, Jordan Whitehead, Tyler Boyd, and Aaron Donald to potential recruits.

Here’s a recap of how former Pitt Panthers performed in Week 3 of the NFL season

DT Aaron Donald/Los Angeles Rams: 5 tackles, 2 sacks, 1 fumble recovery

CB K’Waun Williams, San Francisco 49ers: 3 tackles, 2 assists (team-high)

RB Dion Lewis, NY Giants: 1 catch for 10 yards

WR Tyler Boyd, Cincinnati Bengals: 10 catches for 125 yards

CB Avonte Maddox, Philadelphia Eagles: 7 tackles (team-high)

RB James Conner, Pittsburgh Steelers: 18 carries for 109 yards, 1 TD and 4 catches for 40 yards

P Andy Lee, Arizona Cardinals: Andy Lee: 46 yard average on two punts

RB LeSean McCoy, Tampa Bay Buccaneers: 2 catches for 24 yards

S Jordan Whitehead, Tampa Bay Buccaneers:  4 tackles, 1 assist, 1 sack (first career sack)
