Pitt Postgame Show: More Typical Pitt on Display in Loss to NC State?

Published

on

With Pitt and WVU kicking off at the same time, host Mike Asti combined both shows for one big college football edition Pittsburgh Postgame. Mike was joined by KDKA’s James Santelli, and Tom Bragg of WV Sports Now.

James talked about Pitt’s upset loss to N.C. State and if it’s just typical Pitt. Were some weaknesses of the defense exposed and can as much fall on Kenny Pickett for this Panthers team to have success?

Tom then joined once the WVU game finally ended to discuss a sloppy game in Morgantown. Does the WVU defense deserve more credit for how well they have been playing? Can WVU get its offense going without a true established star weapon for Jarrett Doege?

Pitt showed why they are not a top team, again. Mark Whipple is not a very good play caller, the O-line is terrible, too many drops. Dave Borberly is supposed to be a highly regarded line Coach but yet his O-lines have stunk. The Defense is too predictable, try Blitzing a corner now and then, finally Naz’ ego is too big, kick the field goal and we win
