Postgame Reaction: ‘No Quit’ for Pitt after Blowout Loss to Notre Dame



PITTSBURGH — Pitt’s losing streak extended to four games on Saturday at Heinz Field as the Panthers lost in a 45-3 landslide to No. 3 Notre Dame.

The loss was essentially decided in the first half, leaving plenty of time for soul-searching before seniors Chase Pine and Bryce Hargrove spoke with the media after the game.

“Us as a team, we have no quit, honestly,” Pine said. “We’ve got to bounce back, keep fighting through the days. It’s going to happen.”

how appropriate, #14. He quit on the play after getting beat. Stopped running, threw his hands up in the air, ND scored. What a shit show. So we left the game at halftime. When i got home, i eventually turned on the Shit Show. And what do you know, there was #14 , just involved in a play near the ND sideline. And what was #14 doing?
