PSN Poll: Pitt Basketball Expectations for 2020-21

Published

on

Fourteen days from now, Jeff Capel will begin his 3rd season as Pitt’s basketball coach.

The Panthers have increased their win total in his first two seasons–from 14 to 16 wins–and are starting to stockpile the depth that should allow them to compete against the heavyweights and continue to improve.

Pitt returns starters Xavier Johnson, Justin Champagnie, Au’Diese Toney, Terrell Brown plus a talented 2020 recruiting class along with transfer guard Ithiel Horton.

However, COVID-19 has eliminated much of Pitt’s non-conference schedule which would’ve provided this team an opportunity to gel and pad their win total. Now, after only a handful of non-conference games, they’ll have to jump into the grind of ACC conference play.

With all that being said, our PSN Poll question is what are your expectations for the 2020 Pitt men’s basketball team?

What are your expectations for Pitt basketball in 2020-21?
