The Robert Morris Men’s basketball season opener, which is scheduled to take place in six days, is in serious jeopardy of not being played.
Pittsburgh Sports Now has confirmed that all basketball activities at Robert Morris have been temporarily shut down due to COVID-19. It’s unclear at this point whether or not this is due to a outbreak within the team or on the Robert Morris campus.
Officals at Robert Morris were meeting this morning to determine what their next steps are and whether on not the opener on Nov 25 against Point Park will be able to be played.
Pittsburgh Sports Now is working to find out more details on this developing situation and will update this story when we have more details.
