Star quarterback Trevor Lawrence will be returning to the lineup for No. 4 Clemson on Saturday when the Panthers make a trip to Death Valley.
While Pitt’s defense is primarily going to be focused on stopping the equally potent Pitt running game, they’ll also devote plenty of attention to trying to keep Lawrence from getting into a groove in his first game in a month.
“That’s always the key every week, to get pressure on the quarterback,” Jones said Wednesday. “With him, especially. The great player that he is, that’s definitely something that we have to do.”
Jones II spoke with the media via Zoom after practice on Wednesday, Nov. 25, 2020 as the Panthers prepare to visit the Tigers.
