Fresh off of helping to land Class of 2021 four-star defensive end Naquan Brown, Pitt wide receivers coach Chris Beatty has positioned the Panthers to be a contender for a talented junior wide receiver.
Class of 2022 four-star wide receiver Peter Kikwata has reduced his list of over 25 schools down to eight and it includes Pitt. Kikwata (6-foot-1, 180 pounds) plays Northwest High School in Germantown, Maryland, the same high school for current Pitt cornerback A.J. Woods and defensive tackle DeAndre Jules.

Due to COVID-19, Kikwata’s school district postponed their fall season so he wasn’t able to play during the 2020 calendar year. Back in 2019, the explosive wide out caught 18 passes for 423 yards and eight touchdowns.
In the last year, Beatty has helped Pitt land two talented receivers from Maryland in Jordan Addison and D.J. Turner and is hoping to add Kikwata to future Pitt receiving group.
