Pitt’s non-conference finale against Gardner-Webb on Saturday at Petersen Events Center has had its time changed due to television.

The Panthers and the Runnin’ Bulldogs will now tip off at 4 p.m. from the Pete and the game will be broadcast on AT&T SportsNet Pittsburgh and the rest of the ACC regional sports networks

The game was originally set to tip off at 2 p.m. and be broadcast on internet streaming only though ACC Network Extra.

Pitt is 3-1 after Wednesday’s comeback win over Northwestern in the ACC-Big Ten Challenge and 2-1 on the Panthers’ home floor, with wins over Drexel and Northern Illinois after a season-opening loss to St. Francis.

Gardner-Webb will be playing its first game of the season on Thursday night at Western Kentucky before making the trip to Pittsburgh.

Pitt is 1-0 all-time against Gardner-Webb, with a 99-80 home win in 2016. The Bulldogs finished the 2019-20 season with a 16-16 record and were in third place in the Big South Conference.

The Panthers will wrap their non-conference slate with Gardner-Webb and then get ready for ACC play, which will begin Wednesday, Dec. 16 at Miami.
