Here’s the statement released by Duquesne:

“Due to a positive COVID-19 test result among Tier 1 personnel, the men’s basketball team will not be participating in games scheduled for Dec. 14 & 16 in Indianapolis. In accordance with existing guidelines and protocols, Tier 1 personal will continue to undergo additional testing and subsequent contact tracing. Until the additional testing and contact tracing is completed, all program activity will be paused.”

Tier I includes players and those other personnel that have direct contact with players, including coaches and training staff.

Duquesne’s last game was on December 2, with their last scheduled game on December 4 also getting canceled because of COVID-19 issues. The Dukes next scheduled game is December 19, when they open up A-10 play against Richmond.
