PITTSBURGH — The centerpiece of Pitt’s strong 2021 recruiting class was the team’s three highly touted local defensive linemen, and so it was fitting that longtime friends Elliot Donald, Dorien Ford and Nahki Johnson got together as they officially signed their National Letters of Intent and joined the Pitt football program on Wednesday.
Donald, a defensive tackle from Central Catholic, Ford, a defensive tackle from Baldwin, and Johnson, a defensive end from West Mifflin, were three of the top five players in the WPIAL in the class and the top three defensive linemen in the area, and although they all had many offers, they eventually all decided to choose Pitt.

Congratulations fellows. It is a long and competitive road from now to graduation, hope all Pitt fans get to see each of you have a healthy, successful career at Pitt. We also hope 4 years from now, after winning and achieving the goals at Pitt, we can watch each of you become high NFL picks in 4 years. Hail to Pitt.
