**Pitt becomes the first program to offer a young, talent from Virginia. Freshman wide receiver/cornerback Da’Vontae Floyd, from Maury High School in Norfolk, Virginia, got the news on Wednesday that he’d received an offer from Pitt. This becomes Floyd’s first college football offer. Floyd is likely getting recruited by Chris Beatty.
