RMU’s Game against Milwaukee Cancelled Due to Positive COVID-19 Test

UPDATE: Robert Morris has announced that its weekend Horizon League road contests have been cancelled due to positive COVID-19 tests within its program. Its next games are scheduled Jan. 15 and 16 at UIC.

Robert Morris’ second game of the weekend against Milwaukee, which was to be contested early Saturday evening, has been canceled due to a positive test within the RMU program, the Horizon League announced

Robert Morris won Friday night’s contest between the teams, 67-64. RMU won the game without Dante Treacy and Jon Williams, both of whom were held out for COVID-19 protocol reasons. It’s not clear if the individual that tested positive on Saturday and caused the cancellation participated in Friday’s game.

The Colonials (3-3, 2-1 Horizon) have been shut down twice this season, once delaying their start to play and then again disrupting their non-conference schedule after a season-opening win over Point Park.

RMU is next scheduled to take the floor next weekend, when they have two games scheduled at IUPUI in Indianapolis on Jan. 8 and 9.
