Lathan (6-foot-2, 188 pounds) has announced that he will focus now on the follow schools- (no order) Pitt, Florida, Georgia, Miami, Oregon, Penn State and Tennessee. Schools that didn’t make the cut include West Virginia, Louisville, Nebraska, Florida State, Michigan State, Cincinnati, Arizona State and Virginia.

Scouting services list Lathan as an athlete because of his ability to play both linebacker and wide receiver at a high level. Both ESPN and 247 Sports rank Lathan as one of the Top 20 outside linebacker prospects in the Class of 2022.

Partridge and Pitt have been recruiting Lathan since April of 2020, which is when they officially offered him a scholarship.

If he heads North, it’ll be to Gainesville.
