Die-Hards: 2022 3-Star Safety Nicholas Alvarado Has Real Interest in Pitt

Published

on

New Jersey is a state that Pitt has traditionally recruited well going back to the Dave Wannstedt era with current Boston College head coach Jeff Hafley serving as his ace recruiter in Garden State.

Currently with Pitt, Pat Narduzzi has both Tim Salem and Cory Sanders mostly covering that state, where in the last few years they’ve landed players such as Solomon DeShields (Millville, New Jersey), Sirvocea Dennis (Hightstown, New Jersey), Jason Collier (Westville, New Jersey), Bryce Nelms (West Orange, New Jersey), Kaymar Mimes (Long Branch, New Jersey) and Nick Patti (Montvale, New Jersey).

Looking at their current offer list, Pitt has offered 20+ players in the Class of 2022 from New Jersey, with one of their top targets being 3-star safety Nicholas Alvarado from Union City High School in Union City, New Jersey.

Pittsburgh Sports Now spoke on Wednesday with Alvarado and found out that Pitt is clearly a school that he’s considering.
