MOBILE, Ala. — There has been a late addition to the Senior Bowl lineup, as Pitt center Jimmy Morrissey will join the squad, Pitt head coach Pat Narduzzi announced on Friday.

Morrissey was not able to take part in any of the three pre-game practice sessions this week on the campus of South Alabama, but will be able to play in Saturday’s game.
Morrissey, the winner of the 2020 Burlsworth Trophy as the top former walk-on in college football, is a 6-foot-3, 305-pound center from Huntington Valley, Pennsylvania.

His addition to the squad gives the Panthers five representatives at the Senior Bowl, as he’ll join defensive ends Patrick Jones II and Rashad Weaver and safety Damar Hamlin in Mobile.

Morrissey was a first-team All-ACC lineman according to the Associated Press following his redshirt senior season, in which he started all 11 games for Pitt, giving him 47 career starting assignments.

It’s not clear which team Morrissey will be assigned to. The other three Pitt players are all on the National Team.

Saturday’s game will kick off from Hancock Whitney Stadium at 2:30 p.m. and be broadcast on NFL Network.
