One of the musts of the upcoming season for Pitt is to improve the production from their running attack. Aside from the last couple of games against Virginia Tech and Georgia Tech, the Panthers running back was pretty much non-existent all season which negatively impacted their overall offense.

Pitt will be bringing back everyone from last seasons running back depth chart plus will be adding two talented players in freshman Malik Newton and Rodney Hammond.

Work still needs to be done at that position and to that end, the coaching staff is looking to bring in a potential lead back for the future.

Archie Collins was busy on Saturday talking with and then offering a big-time talent, 2022 4-star running back Justin Williams from East Paulding High School in Dallas, Georgia.

Pittsburgh Sports Now caught up with Williams last night to talk to him about Pitt and at the end of our enjoyable conversation, found out Williams is the type of back that Pitt has been missing.
