For the fourth time this weekend, Pitt has made the cut for a player in the Class of 2022.
Virginia 3-star athlete Akim Sledge, Florida 3-star wide receiver Quan Lee and Georgia 4-star cornerback Marcus Allen all announced that Pitt were included in their most recent list of top programs.
The fourth player to list Pitt is 3-star running back Rodney Hill from Bulloch Academy in Statesboro, Georgia, who released his top ten schools on Sunday afternoon. Hill tells Pittsburgh Sports Now that his finalists are: Pitt, West Virginia, Michigan State, Minnesota, Virginia, Arkansas State, Liberty, Colorado, Georgia Southern and Troy. Hill also held notable offers from Ole Miss, Central Florida, Tennessee and East Carolina.
“It was difficult because I really liked every school that offered and that were recruiting me,” Hill told Pittsburgh Sports Now. “But, I just knew that these were the ten schools that I liked the best that were recruiting me. In this first cut, I really looked a lot at the schools that were recruiting me hardest and really showing interest in me.”

In an interview prior to his news today, Hills tells PSN that Pitt has been been one of the schools recruiting him hardest since extending an offer back on December 1. Since that time, a combination of Pitt coaches have vigorously recruited him but also his parents.
