The Duquesne Dukes football program has added another challenging non-conference opponent to its schedule.
According to the Fort Worth Star Telegram, the TCU Horned Frogs, from the Big 12 Conference, have added Duquesne to their 2021 football schedule. This will be the first game between the two schools.
Duquesne will travel to Fort Worth, Texas on Saturday, Sept. 4, 2021 to take on TCU at Amon G. Carter Stadium.
This will be the second game against an FBS program that Duquesne has scheduled for this season. Following this game against TCU, Duquesne will take on Ohio University on September 11.
This won’t be the only two games against FBS programs that Duquesne will play in the future. Looking ahead to the 2022 season, the Dukes have games scheduled against both Youngstown State and Hawaii, in 2023 against West Virginia and in 2024 against Toledo and Youngstown State.
The Dukes announced a four-game 2021 spring conference schedule last week as they’ll take on Sacred Heart (March 7), Wagner (March 14), LIU (March 21) and close out the abbreviated schedule with a game against Bryant on March 28.
