NC State’s Thomas Allen To Miss Today’s Game vs. Pitt

Published

on

An injury at practice this week will have NC State without a starter for today’s game against Pitt.

Forward Thomas Allen suffered a left leg injury during the Wolf Pack’s practice on Monday and will miss this afternoon’s game as a precaution. Freshman Cam Hayes and Shakeel Moore will pick up Allen’s minutes in the rotation.

The redshirt junior guard has started 15 of 17 games this season and averaged 7.4 points, 2.3 rebounds per game, while also shooting 37.9% from three-point range.

This is the latest injury for NC State, which leaves them with only 10 players on their roster for today and 6 of those players are either true or redshirt freshman.

NC State enters today’s game with an overall record of 8-9, 4-8 in conference and have lost eight of their last ten games. Jeff Capel’s team is in a similar situation having lost five of their last six games.
