Die-Hards: Drew Allar Commits to Penn State; Resetting Pitt’s 2022 QB Board

In the business of recruiting, you win some and you lose some.

The object is to win more big recruiting battles than you lose, which means Pitt has some catching up to do in their Class of 2022.

This morning, Ohio 3-star quarterback Drew Allar made an early morning recruiting decision as he announced that he was committing to James Franklin and Penn State. Allar was one of the quickest rising prospects in the country and someone that the Pitt staff has been recruiting for over a year now. In fact, Pitt was the first Power Five offer for Allar back in April of 2020.

With this news, we want to reset Pitt’s quarterback recruiting board for 2022 and project who their top target now becomes.
