Weekends in June continue to fill up with junior recruits scheduling official visits to Pitt.

Tonight, 3-star wide receiver Addison Copeland III (6’3″, 190) from Western Maritime School in Buffalo, New York locked in an official visit during the weekend of June 10-12. Copeland is being recruited to Pitt by both Tim Salem and Brennan Marion.

The big wideout from New York gave a commitment to Rutgers back in September but decided to de-commit on February 9. Copeland is a big, playmaking target that also holds offers from programs like Notre Dame, Penn State, Boston College, BYU, Indiana and South Carolina.

The national recruiting sites believe Copeland is a heavy lean towards Notre Dame so it’s impressive that the duo of Salem and Marion were able to get him to get him on an official to Pitt.

Copeland becomes the 16th recruit that Pittsburgh Sports Now has confirmed to be making an official visit to Pitt during June. Other players coming during the second week in June are tight end Max Dowling (Buffalo, New York), 3-star linebacker Leon Hart (Miami, Florida), 3-star offensive tackle Isaiah Montgomery (Virginia Beach, Virginia), 3-star linebacker Keon Wylie (Philadelphia, Pennsylvania) and 3-star defensive tackle Sean FitzSimmons (Central Valley High School).
