Pitt enjoyed success last recruiting cycle but signing four players from the state of Virginia and hope to enjoy similar success for their Class of 2022.

Thanks to the recruiting efforts of offensive line coach Dave Borbely, Pitt has secured an official visit from one of the top offensive line targets on their recruiting board.

2022 3-star offensive guard Desaun Williams (6’4″, 315) tells PSN’s Harry Psaros that he’s scheduled an official visit to Pitt the weekend of June 25-27.

Williams holds an impressive list of offers from programs such as Arkansas, Baylor, Boston College, Maryland, Michigan State, Kentucky, South Carolina, Virginia and West Virginia.

Five teams that are high on Williams list appear to be Pitt, Kentucky, Michigan State, Maryland and West Virginia.

Back in January, Williams had this to say to Pittsburgh Sports Now about his thoughts on Pitt.

”Pitt and I have the best relationship out of all my offers and that played a major factor into why they made my top five. I just talked to Coach Borbely and Coach Beatty the other day and we talk and we laugh. The genuine relationship we’ve built is no faking it.”
