Pitt has secured their fourth official June visit—to this point—from a player from Florida.
2022 3-star wide receiver Quan Lee has announced that he’s scheduled an official visit to Pitt from June 25-27. Lee becomes the second receiver from Florida to schedule a visit, joining 3-star wideout Marcus Peterson from Lake City, Florida (June 3-5).
Along with a trip to Pitt, Lee also says that he plans on taking an official to West Virginia (June 4-6) and then to Miami, Fla (June 10-13). The native of Gainesville, Florida is being recruited to Pitt by both wide receivers coach Brennan Marion and Tim Salem, his primary recruiter.
Back on March 2, PSN spoke to Lee, who had plenty of positive things to say about the job Salem has done recruiting him.
“Coach Salem has done a good job of keeping in touch with me and showing me around the campus, football-wise and also education-wise, especially about Pitt’s business program,” said Lee. “Life after football is very important to me and Coach Salem stressed that. I’ve learned about him that he doesn’t like to cut corners and gets straight to the point in our conversations and I like that. We’ve talked a lot about life after football because football doesn’t last forever. I’d like to major in business or finance and eventually get into real estate.”
Lee is player that the Pitt staff is very high on this player because of the speed he possess on the field and his team first attitude and willingness to do whatever necessary to help his team win. He’s been a character player in high school and will no doubt carry over that attitude in college, which is attractive to coaches.
Lee (6’0″, 175) holds 20+ offers including ones from Cincinnati, Duke, Georgia Tech, Kentucky, Louisville, Miami, Nebraska, Penn State, South Carolina, Tennessee, Central Florida, Virginia Tech and West Virginia.
