On Tuesday, Robert Morris extended an offer to an intriguing in-state prospect by the name of Khali Horton.
This offer from RMU was the first of hopefully many for the 6-foot-8 Horton out of Cathedral Prep in Erie, Pennsylvania. He plays the forward position, and has the body and athleticism to play at the division one level, as proven by the offer.
Horton possesses fantastic range with his jump shot, while also having a strong post game inside. While his frame still has plenty of time to fill out, as of now it looks like Horton will play either the 3 or the 4 in college and keep moving outside with his game. He is a very good rebounder and has the footwork to block out just about anyone his age down low.
He is coming off of an excellent sophomore season at Cathedral which concluded in a state championship victory. Horton plays his AAU ball on the Adidas Circuit for Wildcats Select.
Look for Horton to continue to develop a strong relationship with head coach Andy Toole, as he and his staff proved they were interested earlier than any other program out there.
