Interesting discussion on Pitt’s struggles. I am concerned about players leaving. It was somewhat understandable with Carr, Luther, and other players leftover from the Stallings’ era. Although some of those were valuable players.
Then we have players like McGowans, Johnson, Toney, and Coulibaly. I worry about why they left. It seems that we have an outstanding coaching staff. What would drive these guys to the transfer portal? Will we lose more players? I hope someone knows.
It’s a different time. I went to Pitt 15 years ago and admit Dixon wouldn’t work. Players are moving at an exceptional rate. This is the downfall of college athletics.
