Former Pitt and current Los Angeles Rams defensive tackle Aaron Donald is reportedly in trouble with the law.
KDKA-TV’s Andy Sheehan first reported that Donald will be facing assault charges for an incident that reportedly happened last weekend in Pittsburgh.
Sheehan reports that Pittsburgh defense attorney Todd Hollis will be seeking criminal charges for his client, DeVincent Spriggs against Donald for an incident that he claims happened on April 11 at an after-hours club. Hollis told the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette that Spriggs suffered a concussion and other injuries.
The Los Angeles Rams issued a statement saying, “We are aware of the reports regarding Aaron Donald. We are collecting more information and will have no further comment at this time.”
Since getting drafted from Pitt, Donald has maintained a offseason residence in Pittsburgh and routinely trains here in the offseason.
I don’t believe Aaron started this row, but he sure finished it.
Seems like somebody is looking for a payday…
