Three-star cornerback Ryland Gandy, from Buford Georgia, has announced that he will use one of his five official visits to come to Pitt. Gandy adds to the list of impressive recruits traveling to Pitt during the week of June 3-5. The talented cornerback from Buford High School is being recruited to Pitt by Archie Collins.

Along with Pitt, Gandy (6-foot, 170 pounds) also holds offers from Arkansas, Cincinnati, Colorado, Georgia Tech, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan State, Nebraska, North Carolina, Notre Dame, Penn State, Central Florida, USC, Virginia Tech and West Virginia.

Gandy is one of a handful of Power Five players on the 2021 Buford High School Team along with three-star running back Victor Venn (committed to Colorado), three-star WR/CB Isaiah Bond (un-committed), three-star safety Malik Spencer (un-committed), three-star athlete Jake Pope (un-committed). Pitt has made the final five for Bond, although just yesterday, he picked up a new offer from Texas.
