On Tuesday, former First Love Christian Academy guard David Collins made his decision on where he would play college basketball next.
After four seasons with South Florida, Collins will be taking his talents to the ACC and playing for Clemson. In his time at USF, the 6-foot-4 Collins averaged more than ten points per game in every season, including an average of 12.5 points per game this season.
The best performance of Collins’ senior season came against Temple, when he scored 23 points on nine-of-19 shooting.
Since entering the transfer portal weeks ago, Collins received interest from many different programs around the nation including Duquesne. However, in the end, his best interest was to take his talents to Clemson and play under Brad Brownell.
