The NFL Draft is less than four days away and all signs point to it being a good weekend for the Pitt Panther football program.
Everything is just speculation at this point but as many as six or seven Pitt players could hear their name called during this weekend’s draft with Rashad Weaver, Patrick Jones, Jaylen Twyman, Damar Hamlin, Jimmy Morrisey, Paris Ford and DJ Turner as possibilities.
Turner only played at Pitt for one season but finished the season as one of their top threats at the wide receiver position. Because of that productivity, Turner has put himself in position to fulfill a lifelong dream of being an NFL draft pick.
Pittsburgh Sports Now had the chance to talk with Turner as he’s in Florida waiting for the draft to begin on Thursday night.
