2021 NFL Draft Profile: Pitt FS Damar Hamlin

Published

on

Free safety Damar Hamlin came into college as a cornerback, but his success after the position change to safety proved why he was a four-star recruit. The Central Catholic alum led the Panthers in tackles this past season with 67 and was selected to the All-ACC second team. He finished his career at Pitt with 27 pass breakups, 10 tackles for loss and six interceptions. Hamlin was plagued with injuries during his time at Pitt, which will most likely hurt his draft stock. His freshman year was cut short, resulting in a redshirt.
