Pitt defensive end Patrick Jones II is a highly talented pass rusher who uses size and speed to get to the quarterback, and he more than proved this during his four seasons with the Panthers. Jones had 22 sacks at Pitt which is 12th most in school history, and had 17.5 in the past two seasons. The Chesapeake, Va. also racked up 117 tackles and 33.5 tackles for loss during his college career.
He was a consensus All-American and first-team All-ACC for 2020 and was a Bednarik Award semifinalist. Jones also earned All-ACC second team honors and was an honorable mention All-American in 2019. Jones suffered an unfortunate break at Pitt’s pro day when he tweaked his hamstring during the 40-yard dash. He leads a stacked Pitt defensive line class into the NFL Draft alongside defensive end Rashad Weaver and defensive tackle Jaylen Twyman.
