While it’s a small sign, Pitt received some positive feedback on Wednesday from the considerable amount of emphasis they’ve made this recruiting season in recruiting the state of Texas.

2022 speedster Che Nwabuko (Manor, Texas) has decided to make an official visit to Pitt. Nwabuko (5’10”, 175) will make his visit from June 25-27.

Nwabuko received his offer from Pitt back in March and it was his second Power Five offer (Kansas). Since then, he’s picked up offers from Michigan, Marshall, Liberty, Old Dominion and Air Force.

Nwabuko’s biggest asset on the football field is his elite speed and big play ability. At Manor High School, Nwabuko is used as a running back as well as lining up in the slot as a wide receiver. Last season, he rushed 44 times for 471 yards, as well as catching 42 passes for 700 yards. All together, Nwabuko averaged 181.7 total yards per game and 13.97 per touch.

Aside from being a standout in football, Nwabuko also excels in track, where he ran a 10.47 in the 100 meter dash and a 21.4 in the 200 meter.
