2021 NFL Draft Profile: Pitt WR/KR DJ Turner

Wide receiver DJ Turner joined the Panthers as a graduate transfer from Maryland for the 2020 season. During his campaign at Pitt, Turner caught 44 passes for 634 yards and 3 touchdowns. He added 15 punt returns for 125 yards and 14 kick return for 311 yards which earned him a spot on the All-ACC first team as a return specialist. Turner only started in six games at Maryland, catching 24 passes for 294 yards and a score.

His breakout season at Pitt revitalized his career and put him on the radar of the NFL Draft, by proving his worth in the receiving and return game.
