Robert Morris Offers UT-Martin Transfer Jaron Williams

On Thursday night, Andy Toole and his staff continued their search for future Colonials in the transfer portal and offered Jaron Williams, according to Jake Lieberman.

Williams, a UT-Martin transfer, is a 6-foot-6, 210-pound guard/forward who is originally from Rock Hill, South Carolina.

After spending the first two seasons of his college career at the College of Central Florida, Williams transferred to UT-Martin and had an excellent season for the Skyhawks. After one season playing there, he decided to enter the transfer portal just over a month ago on March 19.

In his lone season in Martin, Williams averaged 10.3 points and 3.3 rebounds per game in 24 appearances. He started 22 of those 24 games played and shot 49% from the field, 37% from three-point range, and 71% from the free-throw line. His best game of the season came against Jacksonville State, when he knocked down five of his seven three-point attempts and finished with 21 points, three assists, and two rebounds.

Lieberman also reports that Williams plans on committing to a program on May 9, and that McNeese State, Western Michigan, UMBC, Campbell, and Radford are all in the mix to land him as well.
