Three weeks after almost making his college decision, 2021 5-star center Efton Reid will give it another try.

Back on April 21, Reid was going to announce his much anticipated decision but delayed it after having difficulties settling on one school. Now, the highly sought after player will reportedly give it a second try.

Thursday night on Twitter, Reid’s mother announced that her son will announce his college commitment tomorrow at Noon.

The question now is who will Reid select?

It’s very difficult to narrow things now for this question because despite being a high profile, national recruit, Reid has kept his recruitment mostly under wraps and isn’t a big user of social media.

Three weeks ago, Pittsburgh Sports Now was told that Reid’s decision would come down to either Pitt, Florida State and LSU. Following him delaying the decision, their was speculation that North Carolina was making a late pitch for his services. No word has leaked since then as to who might have taken the lead over the last few weeks.

All we do know is that Jeff Capel and Milan Brown have done more than a solid job trying to land this potential program changing player. Capel has done a good job with Reid’s family, in particular recruiting his mother, who we’re told would be very comfortable sending her son to Pitt.

OSU was supposedly in the final 3 three weeks ago. I’ll be happy when his selection is finally over and/or he can actually speak for himself.

Once Reid pushed his decision date, OSU went out and secured a couple bigs in the portal/incoming class.

OSU, I believe is out of it. Think it may be a 2 horse race with one horse see still close. Think it’s down to UNC/Pitt with FSU still in it.

So I won’t be shocked when he ends up at Kansas. Haha
