Robert Morris men’s basketball fans will definitely need a program when attending games for the upcoming 2021-22 season.
On Wednesday, Andy Toole welcomed the eighth new member to his program when UT-Martin transfer Jaron Williams announced he was transferring to Robert Morris.
Williams is a 6-foot-6, 210-pound guard/forward that originally started his career at Central Florida, before transferring to UT-Martin last season. After just one season with the Skyhawks, Williams entered the transfer portal on March 19.
In his lone season in Martin, Williams averaged 10.3 points and 3.3 rebounds per game in 24 appearances. He started 22 of those 24 games played and shot 49% from the field, 37% from three-point range, and 71% from the free-throw line. His best game of the season came against Jacksonville State, when he knocked down five of his seven three-point attempts and finished with 21 points, three assists, and two rebounds.
Barring any unforeseen late departures, this will be the last addition for Robert Morris prior to the upcoming season.
