Die-Hards: Who is Recent Pitt Offer Recipient Cam Whitmore? HS Coach Breaks Down Junior’s Game

Published

This past Sunday, Pitt offered one of the most enticing prospects in the class of 2022 in Cam Whitmore, a 6-foot-6 small forward from Maryland.

Pittsburgh Sports Now caught up with Whitmore’s coach at Archbishop Spalding High School Josh Pratt to learn more about Whitmore as a player and Whitmore as a kid.

Whitmore, the No. 109 player in the nation according to 247Sports’ Composite Rankings, holds offers from Pitt Illinois, Creighton, Florida, Maryland, Penn State, and many more. This past season, he scored an average of 22 points per game while grabbing 11.7 rebounds per game, good for Baltimore Catholic League Player of the Year honors.

The junior’s highlight tape is filled with electric plays on both sides of the ball, and with his maturity on and off the court at just 16 years old, Pratt thinks he has a very bright future.
