Homewood Community Sports is calling all local supporters to help replace stolen equipment from the team’s football shed, which was broken into and ransacked over the offseason. Baseball and track equipment were also stolen and three levels of football are completely without equipment heading into next season.

Homewood Football is a non-profit local sports organization under Homewood Community Sports. The program provides children ages 5-14 with an opportunity to play youth sports. There are five levels of football and over 150 kids have been a part of the program each and every year over the past six decades.

The organization is calling upon all supporters for donations towards restoring the equipment for the teams in a GoFundMe page created on May 28th. The campaign has a goal of $9,500 and can be found here.
