Pitt Commit Nate Santos Excited to Get to Campus, Schedules Move-In Date

When Nate Santos committed to Pitt back on April 6, it felt like his arrival on campus was so close, but yet so far.

Pitt had not signed anyone else up until that point, and the outlook of fans of the program was looking as bleak as ever.

Now, as he is just one month away from arriving on campus. Santos is getting closer and closer to his dream of playing at the next level.

“I am super excited,” Santos told Pittsburgh Sports Now. “June 28 [I will be arriving on campus]. I am looking forward to getting better and being around the team. Just being able to play at the next level is exciting.”

Santos is a 6-foot-7, 210-pound forward who will be looking to provide scoring off the bench for the Panthers, who are still trying to fill the rest of their open scholarships for next season.

“I think with Coach Capel and his staff that I have the best opportunity to grow as a player and as a person at Pitt,” Santos told PSN back in April. “It is a great school in a great conference, and it is a great opportunity to grow as a player and compete and hopefully take the program to the next level.”

capel has proven he can not recruit and he has already proven he is a problem with supporting his players. There never was a question about he inability to coach. Cannot wait beyond 2022, since he has not recruited anyone in class of 2023. Dump him at end of ACC and hire Orlando Antigua an alumnus, and national recruiter away from Calipari.
