All 105 is a Pittsburgh Sports Now series profiling each of the 105 members of Pitt’s 2021 training camp roster.

5 • Deslin Alexandre, senior defensive lineman

Last year: Made two starts at defensive end, played in all 11 games

Stats: Tallied 18 tackles, 6.5 tackles for loss, three sacks, two pass breakups, and a fumble recovery.

Camp outlook: Assistant head coach and defensive line coach Charlie Partridge and the Panthers have done a tremendous job developing defensive line talent in recent years, with a stacked class heading to the NFL this season. Alexandre is now the most experienced member of that group, with plenty of opportunity to grow.

Projected role: With edge rushers Patrick Jones II and Rashad Weaver moving on to the NFL, Alexandre will most likely have a starting spot on the edge all to himself in 2021.
