Pitt 2021 All 105: DL Habakkuk Baldonado

Published

on

Pitt vs. Florida State.

All 105 is a Pittsburgh Sports Now series profiling each of the 105 members of Pitt’s 2021 training camp roster.

87 • Habakkuk Baldonado, redshirt junior defensive lineman

Last Year: Baldonado suffered a knee injury in Pitt’s season opener against Austin Peay and only appeared in four games, primarily as a backup to Patrick Jones III and Rashad Weaver.

Stats: Baldonado’s best season came in 2019, when he recorded 30 tackles and four sacks.

Camp outlook: With the depth chart still coming together following Jones’ and Weaver’s departure for the NFL, Baldonado has a chance to break out in his fourth year under defensive line coach Charlie Partridge.

Projected role: There’s a lot of talent in the Panthers D-line rotation, and Baldonado looks to be a rotational player once again.

Accolades, Highlights: Made the PFF ACC Team of the Week in September 2019 after recording 1.5 sacks and four tackles against Delaware.

I really really wish you would put the Height weight details in these bios and also the CFB Stats for each player. So we can get a full snapshot of the player
