Pitt 2021 All 105: S Myles Canton

All 105 is a Pittsburgh Sports Now series profiling each of the 105 members of Pitt’s 2021 training camp roster.

39 • Myles Canton, redshirt senior safety

Last year: Did not see the field after transferring from Robert Morris and joining as a walk-on.

Stats: Tallied 107 tackles, five tackles for loss, five pass breakups, two interceptions, two sacks, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery in 33 career games over three seasons with the Colonials.

Camp outlook: Canton sits behind many on the depth chart at the safety position, including high school teammate Judson Tallandier II. He was able to recorded two tackles for the Blue team in the Blue-Gold game.

Projected role: Canton will most likely see another season as a reserve, with Erick Hallett, transfer M.J. Devonshire expected to battle for the starting spot at free safety.

Accolades, Highlights: Won four Washington Catholic Athletic Conference championships at DeMatha Catholic in high school and was a WCAC All-Conference First Team selection.
