Starting today, the Pitt football program will host their final group of recruits in the month of June prior to a recruiting dead period for the month of July.
After hosting official visitors the first two weekends of this month, no groups of visitors were brought in last weekend but that changes this weekend.
Currently, Pitt’s Class of 2022 consists of six players, with a breakdown of three defensive players (DB Ryland Gandy, DE Jimmy Scott, DT Sean FitzSimmons), two offensive players (WR Addison Copeland, RB Jordaan Bailey) and one specialist (P Sam Vander Haar).
Here are the players that Pittsburgh Sports Now has confirmed that will be in town starting today:
Three-star outside linebacker Leon Hart (6-foot-2, 190 pounds) from Miami, Florida. Hart currently holds other offers from Alabama, Arizona State, FIU, FAU, Georgia Tech, Kentucky, LSU, Maryland, Miami, Ole Miss, Penn State, South Carolina, Syracuse, USC, Utah State and West Virginia.
Three-star wide receiver Camden Brown (6-foot-4, 200 pounds) from Fort Lauderdale, Florida. Brown currently holds other offers from Akron, Appalachian State, Auburn, Charlotte, Cincinnati, Indiana, Kentucky, Louisiana-Monroe, Memphis, Navy, New Mexico, Ole Miss, Syracuse, Tulane and Virginia.
Three-star athlete Che Nwabuko (5-foot-10, 175 pounds) from Manor, Texas. Nwbuko currently holds other offers from Air Force, Kansas, Liberty, Louisiana, Marshall, Michigan, Michigan State, Minnesota, Old Dominion, Purdue, UAB, UTSA, Texas State.
Three-star offensive guard Desaun Williams (6-foot-4, 315 pounds) from Chester, Virginia. Williams currently holds other offers from Arkansas, Baylor, Boston College, East Carolina, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan State, South Carolina, Virginia and West Virginia.
Three-star cornerback Davison Igbinosun (6-foot-3, 185 pounds) from Union, New Jersey. Igbinosun currently holds other offers from Akron, Boston College, Central Michigan, Cincinnati, Duke, Indiana, Kent State, UMass, Notre Dame, Ole Miss, Rutgers, Temple, Tennessee, Vanderbilt, Virginia and Wake Forest.
Linebacker Marquan Pope (6-foot-1, 205 pounds) from Denton, Texas. Pope currently holds other offers from Air Force, Army, Kansas, Liberty, Navy and Tulsa.
Their is at least one more player coming this weekend and Pittsburgh Sports Now is working to confirm more information on him. We will post this name as soon as we learn more.
