31 • Erick Hallett II, redshirt junior defensive back
Last Year: Hallett, a 5-foot-11, 190 pound safety, appeared in 10 games, making four starts down the stretch following Paris Ford’s departure from the team.
Stats: Hallett has two interceptions, eight passes defended, and 44 total tackles in two years of playing time, much of which came as a reserve or on special teams.
Camp outlook: Hallett missed the entirety of spring practices due to offseason surgery, so he may need to prove his worth at the top of the depth chart this summer.
Projected role: Hallett is the presumptive successor to Damar Hamlin at free safety for the Panthers.
Accolades, highlights: Hallett was a three-star recruit out of high school and also competed in track and field.
