21 • Damarri Mathis, redshirt senior defensive back
Last year: Mathis, a 5-foot-11, 195 pound cornerback, missed the entire 2020 season with a non football related shoulder injury.
Stats: Mathis has three interceptions and 43 total tackles in his college career. He allowed a 37% completion rate on passes thrown his way in 2019, one of the best marks in college football.
Camp outlook: Fully healed from his 2020 surgery, Mathis is ready for a statement senior year before entering the NFL draft.
Projected role: Mathis will start as an outside cornerback in 2021.
Accolades, highlights: Mathis earned four PFF All-ACC Team of the Week nods in 2019.
