On Wednesday, Rivals released its updated Rivals150 rankings, and many of the players that Pitt is currently recruiting are on the list.
Pitt’s lone commitment so far in the 2022 class, Judah Mintz, saw his ranking explode 35 spots up to No. 68 in the nation.
Pitt’s Targets
One of Pitt’s top forward targets, Dominick Barlow, broke into the Rivals rankings for the first time and is now slated at No. 61 in the nation.
Another forward, Ven-Allen Lubin, who Pitt offered this summer, is ranked at No. 63, up 56 spots from his previous ranking.
Wing Otega Oweh, from Blair Academy, is ranked at No. 76, 52 spots above his previous ranking.
Pitt’s most recent offer went out to Daniel Skillings, who entered the rankings at No. 106.
Mintz’s teammate, power forward Jalen Reed, also made his debut in the rankings, coming in at No. 108 in the country.
Wing Ryan Dunn also saw his name on Rivals’ recruiting board for the first time, coming in at No. 112.
Center Christ Essandoko rounded out the list at No. 150 overall in the nation.
Some of Pitt’s targets also fell in the updated rankings, including Shawn Phillips, who fell 56 spots to No. 98, Jerome Beya, who fell 36 spots down to No. 117, and Chisom Okpara, who fell 44 spots to No. 143.
The higher this kid rises…..the more likely he’ll de-commit.
