No Surprises With Pitt Football’s Week One Depth Chart

Published

on

With it being the first official Pitt football game week of the 2021 season, that means it’s the first official depth chart for the Panther squad.

As is the case every Monday, Pat Narduzzi releases his two-deep depth chart. In reality though, this is a requirement so whether or not this is the true depth chart remains to be seen. Keep in mind, their weren’t too many actual position battles for starting jobs to begin camp.

With all that being said, here’s what Pitt has listed as their depth chart for Saturday’s opener vs. UMass.

Already see some serious questionable lineup concerns. Petrician, Hallett and Clancy are nice players, but shouldn’t be getting playing time let alone starters. Hallett is awful, Petrician got lit up like a Christmas tree during the spring game–He can’t cover anyone. Clancy Is a downgrade from Danielson. Typical Narduzzi antics….

Rodney Hammond is going to be a force to be reckoned with. Give this 4 star RB his shot and he will take PITT running game to another level!!!!
